This series was about an escapee from a kidnapping gang, the Cavendish Gang, who had been nursed back to health by Tonto (a Native American comrade played by Silverheels). Known as "The Lone Ranger," Moore had decided to dedicate his life to fighting crime as he travelled through different towns, always wearing the mask to disguise his face from the Cavendish gang.
