Is this possible? Yes, but it definitely is not likely. All in good natured fun, eh? When a president really did resign (Richard Nixon in 1974) , we got Gerald Ford who turned out to be an honest, hard-working President. If Bush were to resign, we'd get Dick Cheney. Perhaps we should encourage the President to finish out his term after all!
